Dream Catchers with LesPaul Morgan The Brain Mechanic - Time for a Tune-up - Dream Catchers Has your car ever started sputtering the spark plugs need changing or your engine running rough while that’s usually when it’s time for a tune up. Now think of your brain as an engine with spark plugs, electronic ignition, and all types of gizmos and gadgets designed for optimum performance. Now think of NASCAR and the pit crews that are waiting to maintain the driver’s cars for optimum performance and the pit crew that is waiting to make sure everything works fine. Now think of your brain that way. 1. Performance tips include: proper fuel which is food and drink. 2. Developing sleep patterns, checking your blood pressure, take your medicines properly, and a good dose of fruits and vegetables and vitamins. 3. A healthy lifestyle. Exercise, healthy living, alternative approaches to healing, and staying away for genetically modified foods, (GM0) When and if at all possible This may not apply to everyone because in brain injury we are all walks of and someone can be very high function TBI or a newbie and low to medium functionally and everywhere in between.
