The Brazen Laver: Christ our Purification

As the world around us celebrates darkness, let us remember we are children of light. As the saying goes, "The darker the night, the brighter the light shines." The question is: are we shining brightly? Remember, a flame burns best when its wick is clean. In the Tabernacle, the priests were commanded to wash their hands and feet regularly. This took place at the seventh article of our study-the Brazen Laver. It spoke of three elements of purification I will show you in today's message. The main point is: God wanted His ministers to be clean. Jesus said in John 15, "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." When we are cleansed by the Word, we will shine brightly and the Lord will be glorified.
