What’s going on inside the UCP government? The issues managers and press secretaries for the current government of Alberta have been the source of some pretty significant frustration and offense for a lot of Albertans, particularly for those who spend time on Twitter. With issues managers like Matt Wolf and Brian Bateson engaging in what many are calling trolling and the apparently deliberate tweeting of offensive content, issues managers for the UCP appear to be playing from a very different, distinctly trump-esque playbook that Albertans haven’t really seen before. Payman Parseyan is someone who has been a nomination candidate, a political candidate, a campaign manager, he’s a current UCP member and he has also been a press secretary to a minister in the UCP government. Payman graciously offered to come on the show to provide an insiders perspective as to what this government is doing and why. The conversation between he and Nate was probably the most funny and fiery we have had on the show to date, making this an episode you absolutely don’t want to miss!
