The Breaking News Network; Hyper local News To Use and Be A Part of

from Undercover Jetsetter TV · host John Daly

I want to introduce you to a new form of news network – that I use and I am a part of. It’s called The Breaking News Network.  Check it out at www.TheBreakingNewsNetwork.com.You will see the best media and blog feeds from 350 different US cities. But The Breaking News Network is more than just news. It’s branding for your company and it is also helping the social good. The creator is Patrick Kitano.  Patrick is an entrepreneur in the technology and financial fields.  He is also a friend and colleague. Patrick comes to us from San Francisco.  Patrick, welcome. For disclosure’s sake: Patrick and I – along with my business partner Susan Anzalone in NOWtv – are working on a number of projects, some of which we will discuss here today. Patrick, before we get into some of those, let’s introduce people to what The Breaking News Network is.  It is called the largest hyper-local network in the US.  What do you mean by hyper-local? Why is this needed?  Is this replacing or complementing newsrooms?  How can we news consumers use it?
