The Brendan Tierney Interview

Brendan Tierney, the host of The Sligo Show, was recently interviewed by guest host Mary Nielson. During the interview, Brendan shared his story of coming from outside Tuam, County Galway, and attending college in Sligo in 1999. In his third year of college, Brendan became the student president of Sligo IT.

Aside from being a successful college student, Brendan is also a driving instructor and owns his own driving school. He has a passion for helping people learn to drive safely and confidently.

In addition to his academic and career pursuits, Brendan also ran events in the college and in a local nightclub called Envy. He has also started his own company, Fox Marketing & Events, which helps businesses and organizations plan and execute successful events.

Despite being encouraged by his friends to get involved in local politics in Sligo, Brendan's passion lies in helping Sligo put on events and festivals. He has a deep love for his adopted hometown and wants to see it thrive.

Brendan is a family man, having married Niamh from Belfast. Together, they have two children who are the light of their lives.

In conclusion, Brendan Tierney is a man of many talents and passions. From his early beginnings in Tuam to his current life in Sligo, he has pursued his dreams with passion and dedication. Whether it's teaching people to drive, organizing events and festivals, or being a family man.
