The Bride is Ready (Part 1)
from God’s Holy Mountain Broadcast Hosted by Evangelist Martha P. Davis
Evangelist Martha P. Davis delivers a stirring sermon centered on the urgency of preparing for the return of Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom, who is coming for His faithful bride. She emphasizes that the preaching of the gospel is God’s remedy for humanity, made possible through His Son, and that modern technology is one of the ways God ensures the message reaches every nation. Drawing from Revelation 19, Matthew 22, and Matthew 25, Evangelist Davis illustrates the call for believers to be like the wise virgins who kept oil in their lamps, ready for the Bridegroom’s arrival. She warns against spiritual complacency, stressing that righteousness, holiness, and faithfulness—not outward works or self-righteousness—are what adorn the true bride of Christ. Using the image of a bride making herself beautiful for her wedding, she urges believers to purify their hearts, remain steadfast, and walk in intimacy with God, increasing in His knowledge. The sermon is a passionate call to reject lukewarmness, redeem the time, and be prepared for Christ’s imminent return, for only those found ready will enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb.
