From an almost government shut down, to Trump even being considered for speaker of the house while white saviorism gets applauded and Black and Brown movements get whitewashed all due to ‘wokeness’, what is really going on? We called this episode "The Bridge is Over'' for a reason. Right here in Connecticut the most gentrified towns are being represented by white mayors. We cared about taking down the Columbus statues for a few minutes and even knelt, but it’s all still happening and for whatever reason Black and Brown people have lost the zest to recognize or demand true representation. Why are we so quick to sell off our own? How has bipartisanship benefited Black and Brown people, if ever?
