The British Admiral's Bad Luck (1874)

The Legislative Assembly of Victoria Australia on June 2nd, 1874 turned their discussion to the suitability of lighthouses on King Island in the wake of the recent wreck of the British Admiral. Mr. Francis stated what he knew of the matter, “The lighthouse question was a matter of intercolonial concern.
