After my wonderful time in portugal a little while ago dropping some vibes at a few events i also made many new friends and heard many amzing dj's none more so than this weeks guest Romeu i have heard many eclectic dj's in my time but this guy truly is a diffrent level his set i heard at thje amazing underground event | ela | east lisbon afters after my set totally blew me away and i am so proud to have him on our Deepvibes Radio show this week a true audio artist ROMEU has been collecting a respectful selection of vinyl records throughout time. Born and raised in Algarve, he has been for long one of the main real underground names in the south of Portugal, getting to work and book artists like Vibe, Paul Day and Miguel Quintão on his own nights. His international career started when he moved to Oslo, and got to play several times among its hottest local spots, referring that there he was “respected and appreciated by what he played, not by who he knew”. Back to Portugal, he became a resident of Cabaret, known to be one of the best underground micro clubs in Portugal.
