The Bruce Collins Show- Bonus Weekend Edition- Guest: Laura Schreffler

from The Bruce Collins Show · host Fringe Radio Network

And now for something completely different....You wouldn't think you'd hear those words from a website that calls itself fringe. However, I have always wanted to do a variety of shows. I just love talking and listening to people, what they do, what they enjoy and their perspective, whether right or wrong. I love dialogue. It is a theatre of the mind- words create pictures in your mind that are much more vivid than television.I don't necessarily condone nor endorse any of the websites mentioned and one should ALWAYS use caution, whatever you do on the internet. In a week where many flowers, balloons and candy were passed around, it seemed only obvious that a show about internet dating should be explored. These days, I get a ton of book agents sending me their authors books and promotionals and asking me if I'd be interested in an interview. I turn down more, a lot more, than I accept. But, occasionally, something out of the box comes around and I just have to explore the topic. Due to the timeliness, this one just fell into place. The author, Laura Schreffler. Her book, Internet Dating 101: It's Complicated, But it doesn't have to be.If nothing else, hope you enjoy the interview as a fun conversation. It's not typical of what we do here, but in the words of Art Bell (paraphrased)- "Political talk radio is boring, that's why I decided to do what I do, it gets old talking about the same things week after week."Little did I know, Laura Schreffler has an impressive resume - www.lauraschreffler.com (http://www.lauraschreffler.com)BRUCE COLLINS is a former pro wrestling promoter, an author of three published books (one of them with Brett Wagner, the host of The Speed Channel’s PASS TIME and voice of Monster Garage and another book with Ric Drasin, the middle Hulk in the 1970’s Incredible Hulk tv show with Bill Bixby and the creator of the Gold's Gym logo) and the former book reviewer of Monster Radio, which was nationally syndicated in 84 radio markets.
