The Book of Good Counsels - From the Sanskrit of the "Hitopadesa Sir Edwin Arnold The term ‘Hitopadesha’ is a combination of two Sanskrit terms, ‘Hita’ (welfare/ benefit) and ‘Upadesha’ (counsel).
