The Bunker on RBMA Radio: Mark Verbos 12/15/2016
from thebunkerny · host thebunkerny
@verbos Modular synth master Mark Verbos returns to our NYC studio for a live ambient set and conversation with The Bunker’s Bryan Kasenic. Mark Verbos makes electronic music – as well as tools for making it. His New York-based company, Verbos Electronics, founded in 2014, makes Eurorack modules that incorporate a deep understanding both of vintage gear and contemporary techniques, and you’ll find them in studios and live rigs all over the world. Verbos is a freak about gear, but his musical knowledge extends well beyond the technical. Like many of the artists in The Bunker’s orbit, he traces his musical roots to the Midwest rave scene of the early ‘90s, with a discography stretching back more than two decades. Verbos is back in the studio with Bunker founder Bryan Kasenic for another live performance on his Verbos Electronics system – this time, he’ll be playing an ambient set.
