The Bunker on RBMA Radio: Soramimi & Cory James 9/01/2016
from thebunkerny · host thebunkerny
@soramimi @coryjames Cory James and Soramimi, founders of the experimentally minded New York label, join Bryan Kasenic live in our studio. Having released just two records over the course of two years, New York’s Dusk Notes label isn’t one of techno’s most prolific imprints, but the quality of their output speaks volumes. Founded by Cory James and Soramimi in 2014 “to cater to both the dancefloor and the introspective listener,” as they put it, Dusk Notes is home to techno as immersive as ambient, and ambient that throbs like techno – with a range of evolving, intricate and alluringly synthetic sounds in between. The label heads will join the Bunker’s Bryan Kasenic live in our NYC studio to dive deeper into the sound they’re carving out for themselves.
