@plaslaiko The longtime Bunker resident and world-renowned techno selector mixes live and speaks his mind from our studio in his hometown of Detroit. A resident DJ and integral part of The Bunker since the Subtonic days, Detroit native and current Berlin resident Derek Plaslaiko should need no introduction to anyone who’s followed Bryan Kasenic’s party/agency/label through the years – so we’ll skip the formalities and jump right to the setup. Derek and Bryan both happen to be in Detroit on Derek’s birthday, which is also the day Bryan was planning a live broadcast from our radio studio there. This needle pretty much threaded itself. If you’ve heard Derek on our airwaves before, then you know what to expect from the first of five Bunker broadcasts from Detroit this summer: deep music nerdery, balls-to-the-wall party-starting and plenty of top banter from one of techno’s liveliest characters.
