The Bunker on Red Bull Radio: Rachel Noon 12/20/2018

from thebunkerny · host thebunkerny

The Unter affiliate and longtime NYC raver discusses returning to the DJ booth with renewed vigor, offering a taste of her techno sound. Rachel Noon (@wasps-world) has been in and out of New York clubs since the ’90s. After taking a break from music to pursue (and ultimately shelve) a career in architecture, she’s back in the booth and couldn’t be happier about it. These days she’s deep into dark tripping techno, though club music isn’t her only specialty – for evidence, catch her at Unter Spinoff, the Brooklyn rave’s more experimentally minded event series. She also co-runs the Faire Mauvais Genre radio show for Paris internet radio project Station Station, and has gotten to work producing her own tracks. Ahead of her set at the Bunker’s New Years Eve party in Brooklyn, Rachel joins Bryan Kasenic in our NYC studio to discuss all of the above and play a pair of full-spectrum DJ sets. tracklist: Biosphere “Moistened & Dried” Union Jack “Red Herring” Bootymaster Entropy “Geile Ärsche Und Titten In Der Innenstadt Im Sommer" Doctrina Natura “Catharsis” Marcos Cabral “The Conversation” Coward "Bend Back" MA “Sore” Tom Opdahl “Anthropomorphism” Pris “Dodeca” Salem Hilal “Creep” Metrist “Eliot Mi Fe” Russell E.L.
