@sagotsky The New York lifer, house aficionado and founder of Brooklyn’s beloved Sublimate party joins Bryan Kasenic in our NYC studio. Operating since 2012, Brooklyn’s Sublimate party has spent much of the 2010s putting together some of the city’s most adventurous house music lineups. This past summer, the party’s founder Sagotsky launched a new venture: Smangtasia, a kind of multi-day Sublimate held a few hours upstate from the outer-borough lofts where the party is usually staged. Featuring a fully North American lineup – stacked with more than a few Bunker residents and regulars – the small-scale festival amplified Sagotsky and Sublimate’s excellent curation. Following that killer weekend, Bryan Kasenic invited Sagotsky to spin some records from our New York studio and discuss his ever-expanding universe.
