@asylcahier is a Tokyo-based DJ who also hosts a series of events entitled LSI Dream. While he was born in Japan, it was moving to New York that led him to explore music more deeply and begin to DJ. There he was influenced by, and had the chance to play alongside, house luminaries like Fred P, DJ Qu, and Baaz. There he also fell in love with the beauty of techno music and discovered more abstract sounds. When DJing Asyl seeks to fuse together these different influences, open to experimenting without ever losing sight of the dancefloor, with a consistent groove grounding his sets. His considered approach has established him as a name to watch in the Tokyo scene, and he has supported many international acts, including Shed, Svreca, Powell, Lena Willikens, Mosca and the Giegling crew.
