The Burden of Power - Hidden Vulnerability

Power. You ever get the feeling that you have it but aren't particularly sure how to use it? As a husband or wife. As a parent. As a person of increasing wealth and reputation. As a "child" that feels like you have none but in fact have far more than you may soon appreciate. Relationally, emotionally, financially, organizationally...we have power. Sometimes we crave more. Sometimes we feel the world would be far better if we had none. What if navigating the Burden of Power requires that we embrace two things simultaneously, namely authority and vulnerability? What if we're meant to pursue greater authority and greater vulnerability all the time? What if power is always accompanied by hidden vulnerability?
