The Business Of... Gabriel's Angels

In this episode of the The Business Of, we interview Pi Polletta, Community Engagement Manager of Gabriel's Angels, a non-profit organization in Tucson, that provides pet therapy services to vulnerable children. Pi shares the impact the organization has had on the Tucson community. She also discusses the challenges and rewards of working with vulnerable children and the power of pet therapy to help them heal and thrive. Gabriel's Angels pet therapy teams visit crisis nurseries, domestic violence and homeless shelters, and Title One schools to provide comfort and support to children who have experienced trauma or are facing difficult challenges. The program is designed to help children develop core behaviors such as attachment, confidence, self-regulation, affiliation, empathy, tolerance, and respect.
