The Butcher of Khamis Mushait: The Sorcerer’s Blood Trail
from Crime Night · host Crime Night
Jah Allah al-Bashir, a Sudanese national later dubbed the "Butcher of Khamis Mushait," became infamous for a series of brutal murders in Saudi Arabia. After entering the country illegally, he gained the trust of an elderly employer, only to murder her with an axe and steal her fortune before fleeing back to Sudan. For twelve years, he evaded authorities, fueled by rumors that a surgically embedded amulet rendered him “invisible” to law enforcement. Upon returning to Saudi Arabia in 1997, al-Bashir escalated his violence, carrying out multiple home invasions that resulted in the deaths of several victims, including a married couple and another elderly woman.A massive manhunt, intensified by a 100,000 riyal bounty on his head, eventually led to his capture. Authorities removed the occult charm, and al-Bashir confessed to his crimes. He was subsequently executed by the state, bringing an end to one of the most notorious criminal reigns in the region and exposing the deadly combination of cunning, violence, and superstition that allowed him to terrorize for years. You can listen and download our episodes for free on more than 10 different platforms:https://linktr.ee/crimenight1Produced by:https://www.podcaistudio.com/
