The Byrds | The Spindle (Sidebar)

Every other week on The Spindle, Marc and John drop the needle on a different 7". But for this new Spindle Sidebar hang, they're trying something different: a longform, in-depth chat about a band's full discography. You might remember that on the very first Spindle episode, your record-spinning duo delved into Husker Du's cover of the Byrds' "Eight Miles High." Well, John is a Byrds fanatic, so for this first edition of what we're calling the "Spindle Sidebar," John guides Marc through the entire history of the band, including every album release, offering lots of details and stories about this amazing group's legendary career.
