This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS The world acknowledged the death of Pope Francis, 88, who passed away at the top of this week. Early reports suggest he could be replaced by the first African pope in history. #ReligionOfWhiteSupremacy After Elon Musk's DOGE spent a months firing federal employees, the Tesla CEO says he'll step back from his government job to focus more on his vehicle enterprise. Upset citizens have been vandalizing Musk's vehicles and Tesla earnings allegedly "plunged." In Milwaukee, a black dentist was shot and killed by a black neighbor during a dispute over late night noise. Gun shots erupted at a local high school soccer contest, which forced the game to be canceled. While hot lead lights up the night sky, some of Milwaukee schools' daytime activities have been disrupted by lead in the water.
