The C.O.W.S. Michelle Alexander's 🐮🛎️ The New Jim Crow Part 11 Affirmative Action is for Michelle Alexander's White Mamma

from The C.O.W.S.

The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 11th session on lyin' Michelle Alexander's *The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness*. Alexander has a living White mother and a deceased Black father. Despite 15 years of institutional celebration for her work, Gus T. anticipated this title being one of the "5 Worst Books Ever." History shows that racists generally do not promote literature that provides an accurate understanding of the System of White Supremacy. Deception by Omission & The White Victimhood Pivot: A serious exploration of prisons and Racism must account for the systemic forces that built them. This week, we dismantle the absolute peak of Alexander's biographical dishonesty and structural confusion as she bends over backward to center White trauma in an anti-Black drug war. This week's review includes: 1. The Secret Lineage & White "Victims": Alexander drops the absurd claim that White people are primary victims of the modern racial caste system. She explicitly laments the plight of White women who fell in love with Black men under Jim Crow, yet she deliberately refuses to inform her readers that she herself is the direct product of such a union—hiding her personal familial defenses under the guise of objective scholarship. 2. The Ludicrous Iraq War Analogy: Alexander shamelessly argues that the White people who get snared within the Racist Carceral System are comparable to Iraqi civilians who became "collateral damage" of the U.S. invasion. We blow this laughable, fraudulent claim completely out of the water, exposing how she minimizes a targeted system of anti-Black terror into an accidental policy spillover. 3. The Ashland, Oregon Illusion: We expose her absolute geographical fraud and white resort bubble. Alexander uses her 2016 audio interviews to romanticize her childhood "hope" in Ashland, Oregon—a historically exclusionary, sundown territory with a 0.5% Black population and zero prisons anywhere in her zip code. We interrogate why she lectures the Black community on "complicity" while completely erasing how her own Black father was targeted, passed over, and fired by IBM corporate executives. #COINTELPRO #TheRedboneDeception# #TheCOWS17Years Call: 720.716.7300 Code: 564943#
