The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Next week is the late Carter G. Woodson's beloved Black History Month. Many workplaces will have a host of tacky events, fried chicken jamborees, and watermelon and diversity soirées. Skip 'em if you can. Keep quiet and sober if you're required to attend. Rampant tech layoffs continue - with a hefty amount of non-white workers constituting the "first fired." We'll hear about the FBI's "Operation Nightingale," which targeted a multi-state criminal fraud syndicate that provides counterfeit nursing certifications and credentials. Reports indicate thousands of "fake nurses" may be gainfully employed, and they've not been able to identify and properly charge these fiends. Gus strongly suspects these imposter health care workers are mostly (if not exclusively) classified as White. We also discussed how non-white people can safely support other non-white co-workers without creating problems for anyone.
