The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Last week, we discussed a female listener who's struggling with a snooping White manager. The White Woman now schedules once per week 30 minute chats about non-work related issues. We discussed whether to employ deception during the exchanges - to fabricate family details and free time activities to share, or if non-white people should make an explicit demarcation between our professional and personal life. One Victim of Racism suggests using appointments with White supervisors to solve problems and request constructive information that will aid your current job and/or career development. We'll also discuss the ongoing confusion and changes surrounding Covid-19 and vaccine mandates. We'll also encourage non-white people to be alert for potential dangers associated with "women's history month."
