The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 05/26/23. While Governor Gavin Newsom and others grapple with reparations for the Golden State, black medical doctors in SoCal report abuse, disrespect and Racism. Non-white doctors at Sutter Health report their employers used "false allegations and intimidation tactics to target their own doctors - especially Black and other minority doctors to 'keep them in line.'" Non-white workers being falsely accused is a widespread workplace activity. It is imperative to maintain your composure, ask questions, and document the specific nature of the charges and the subsequent investigation. We also discuss current efforts to amend child labor laws so that 16-year-olds can serve alcohol and 14-year-olds can work longer and later hours.
