The Call at the Truck Stop Chapel on Route 17

It's late autumn 1987, just after midnight, on a stretch of Route 17 that cuts through the Shawangunk Ridge. Luna takes a call from a payphone outside a truck stop chapel — a small white prefab building with a cross on the roof. The man on the other end says his name is Eli and he needs to talk to his wife. But when Luna asks for the number, he gives her an address. A cemetery. She should have hung up.
