THE CALL BEFORE YOU WERE BORN

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Devotional Message: Scripture: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 Long before you took your first breath, God already knew you—intimately and completely. Jeremiah 1:5 reveals a powerful truth: you were not only created by God, you were also called by Him. He set you apart for a purpose before you ever entered the world. Your life carries divine intention, value, and mission. God’s calling on Jeremiah’s life wasn’t something he earned or discovered later—it was embedded in his identity from the beginning. The same is true for you. You were born with heaven’s assignment stamped on your soul. God has a purpose for your life that fits perfectly with the gifts and passions He’s placed within you. Though you may sometimes feel inadequate, unsure, or unworthy, remember that God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. When He calls, He also equips. You are not walking this journey alone; the One who formed you will walk with you every step of the way. Today, ask yourself: Do I believe that God has a specific calling on my life? How can I walk in greater confidence in the purpose He has given me? Prayer: Almighty Father, thank You that You knew me and called me even before I was born. Help me to live with confidence in Your purpose for my life. Show me how to walk faithfully in the calling You’ve placed on me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
