Jesus called men who were not among the elite religious class, but common people living normal lives of their day. Each had their own unique background, personality and problems. To be chosen to be a disciple was a dream come true, but later those disciples were martyred for their belief in who Jesus was, the Son of God. This week we will look at what being called means for us today.
