The calm before the Oilers playoff storm

It's the final Wednesday of the regular season, which means a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never is ready to get you prepped for the playoffs. On today's podcast, I'm discussing Oilersnation's playoff plans, what to expect from the Oilers and Kings, and much more.I started this week's Better Lait Than Never episode with a little playoff preview from an Oilersnation content perspective. I walked through what we've got coming for playoff coverage and how excited I am to get the post-season going, even though so many people seem down on our boys right now. Just because we're not travelling to L.A. for Round 1 this year, that doesn't mean we don't still have plenty planned for playoff content.Turning the podcast to the Oilers, I looked ahead at the 4th straight playoff kickoff against the Los Angeles Kings and how I expect this round to be different. Even though I still believe the Oilers can win, there are definitely some concerns going into this series that are new and scary for our boys. I also touched briefly on the Oilers' final regular season matchup against the San Jose Sharks as Connor McDavid looks for his eighth career 100-point season. Given that he's sitting at 99 points on the year and the final game is against the last-place Sharks, I'm feeling pretty good about him getting there.Finally, I wrapped up this week's episode of BLTN with a Righteous Sack Beating about Phillip Danault's whining during the intermission about the Oilers trying to hurt Kings players before wrapping up the podcast with a quality round of voicemails. While the voicemail was more lively this week, the messages were very funny anyway.
