from Not As Crazy As You Think Podcast

In the episode, "The Cannabis Update with Dr. Lynn Parodneck: Moving Forward in Making MJ Medicine Mainstream (S3, E8)," Dr. Lynn returns with more medical information and further anecdotes. With her experience in helping others taper off opioids and psych meds, Lynn believes there's another way regarding harm reduction. But hospitals aren't honoring medical marijuana as legitimate for medication and will still only push opioids for pain management. Lynn talks about the ethics in allowing patients to choose their own treatments; however, with MJ still federally scheduled as a class 1 substance- meaning, there is no efficacy in using the substance for medicinal purposes- we are still only in the beginning of a new movement in normalizing cannabis treatment. But with minimal research, patients have little support as doctors are waiting for lab testing to know the truth of cannabis' safety profile. Nevertheless, with a dying capitalist view of big pharma business controlling supply and demand of medicines, the counterculture's choice of treatment is steadily moving forward. Visit Dr. Lynn Parodneck's website at: https://www.drlynnparodneck.com/#bipolarartist #psychiatryisnotscience #psychmedswithdrawal #marijuanalegalization #depression #anxiety #PTSD #opioidcrisis #healingPlease visit my website at: http://www.jengaitasiciliano.comDon't forget to subscribe to the Not As Crazy As You Think YouTube channel @SicilianoJenConnect:Instagram: @jengaita LinkedIn: @jensicilianoTwitter: @jsicilianoSend us Fan MailSupport the show
