The Cardinals Still Have Plenty to Play For in September | Cards Central 365

With September here and the Cardinals entering the final stretch of the 2026 season, Joe Roderick and Hunter Mulholland turn their attention to postseason hardware on this edition of Cards Central 365. Could Alec Burleson take home a Silver Slugger after emerging as the Cardinals’ MVP and reaching 100 RBIs? Does Jordan Walker’s incredible turnaround from a -1.7 WAR season to an All-Star-caliber breakout make him a legitimate NL Comeback Player of the Year candidate? The guys also break down the Cardinals’ Gold Glove contenders, including Masyn Winn at shortstop, JJ Wetherholt at second base and Michael McGreevy on the mound. Which Cardinals will bring home some hardware in 2026?
