It's weird that there are a number of stories out there about the Dodgers being linked to the heavily contracted Nolan Arenado. Paul Goldschmidt is older and is on a shorter contract, yet Nolan Arenado is all the rage as far as heavy giveaways go for the Cardinals right now. It would not make sense for the Cardinals to do that. The organization seems to be ready for a 2024 resurgence, but do you trust them to actually make the right moves to achieve their goals?
