Just like you, I have a lot of questions about the state of the world and how we will move and grow through what feels like a constant stream of change. As a professional with 30 years of working experience, I am being challenged at every turn but I have my experience and my network to lean on and I consider myself well suited for the wild ride. What about our recent college graduates, MBA students and young professionals who have been enthusiastically preparing for a robust job market and now find themselves looking at a very uncertain future? I have been sitting with this question the last few months and consider myself in a unique position to offer bridge between the business community and Generation Z. We cannot leave this generation waiting in the wings for employment opportunities. We must do our part in the business community to provide a pathway for learning in the absence internships and job openings. We need to work through our business challenges and can keeping connections to learning open at the same so that this generation is ready when the employment landscape changes.
