The 'Carluccios' Breakfast, 16th December 2011

Richard Maher is Operations Manager for Carluccio's: his fourth position within a company he has been with for ten years. Richard's background is exclusively within the hospitality industry spanning human resources, recruitment and store management. His current role allows him to 'do a bit of everything' and use all of his knowledge to deliver great service to his customers with that little something extra. Richard talks about his journey through the company and how he's enjoyed the freedom to work the way he wants want to, whilst adhering to the values of such a successful brand. He shares his experiences of being able to influence how the business moves forward and explains why he thinks it's possible to find new and exciting challenges without having to change companies. Richard also discusses Christmas, his busiest time of year, and in particular how he manages to share the culture of the Italian Christmas with his customers.
