The two would go on to date, and would marry in 1990 (with the exception of one break up when Mark had found himself smitten with another girl, but Mark had made her the promise that he would never hurt her again. After 24 years of marriage that, for the most part was loving, but was peppered with bad times, epic fights and financial struggles, the couple was about to move from South Carolina to Delaware, where Mark had been offered a creative director position at The University of Delaware, Jennair would stay in South Carolina for 45 days, to get their affairs in order, and lease out their home. During this time, Mark found himself really enjoying the company of his much younger boss, Mereditch Chapman, and Meredith was very impressive, so who could blame him?
