The Disneyland hotel opened shortly after Disneyland in 1955, but wasn’t owned by Disney until the mod 1980s. It was the first hotel built to bare the Disney name.   The Contemporary resort was the first Disney Hotel deliberately built to be able to be seen from inside a Disney theme park.  Will the fact that the monorail drives through the hotel give the Contemporary the push to become the supreme original flagship hotel?  Tune in to find out!
