Gregory Hood, an antiques dealer specializing in rare treasures finds his way into a crime related to the articles that come into his possession. Hounded by the police for meddling in their bailiwick he really angers them by solving the cases they can't. Starting as a summer replacement for Sherlock Holmes in 1946 on the ABC network, the show lasted until October of 1951 churning out 169 episodes of which only 12 are known to exist.
