(OK, we know--He's a "Bear"!)  But then — brace yourselves — it’s not all laughs… because this episode also gives us one of the saddest Little House moments ever: Jack the dog’s death. Laura’s furry best friend crosses over the prairie rainbow bridge, and let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye on or off screen...even shirtless Pa can't distract us from the sadness.
