The Challenge of Losing Yourself in a Marriage

Losing oneself or identity in a marriage is more common than people are aware of. Marriage requires a lot. For a relationship to be successful one must be willing to give to the relationship what it needs. Sometimes this means compromise, sacrifice, and/or putting a side personal goals. Yet, overtime as a person continues to give in this way, they can also begin to lose touch with other important desires or dreams they once had. These feelings can become overwhelming if ignored, feelings as though you’re losing yourself in your marriage? In this podcast episode we want to discuss the feelings of losing yourself in a marriage. No matter what you are going through know that you are more than a husband or wife. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of being reminded of who you are in Christ. You are more than a husband or wife, a mother or father. You are more than your career or economic status.
