Scout Gillett is a singer songwriter living in Brooklyn by way of Kansas City.  Her debut LP,  no roof, no floor  (Captured Tracks) is a meditation on loss and vulnerability that’s sonic quality replaces any hopelessness with a sense of openness. In this episode Joe and Scout  discuss the inspiration behind the new record and the experience of tracking the songs in a barn, in the dark.
