Still gripping the rusted key the woman gave her, Luna faces the rattling closet. She opens it to find a cramped hallway instead of clothes—a passage that leads to a different version of the storage facility. There, a little girl sits cross-legged on the concrete, drawing on the floor with a crayon. The girl looks up and calls her Emily. Luna kneels, and the girl shows her a drawing of a woman with no face, labeled 'the mother.' The girl says the mother took Emily away and put someone else in her room.
