We cry and scream and fight to be, Our parents don’t understand our dreams, Of the things we want, or what we plead. Sometimes fighting to explore, The open world of grand galore. For everything is new and great, And every fancy fills our plate. Until we must grow and work, We lose our glee and happy quirks. Imagination like fizzled clouds, Until our dream world comes back around; Allowing the child within to be proud.
