The Choice | Romans
from Sunday Extended Hosted by Compassion Church Dickson
In this powerful episode, Pastor Jamie and Tommy dive deep into Romans 6 and explore what it truly means to be free from sin through Christ. Baptism is more than a symbol, it represents our total separation from sin’s power and our call to walk in newness of life. We unpack the victory we have in Jesus: our old self was crucified with Him, sin no longer has dominion over us, and we are no longer slaves to sin. Yet, many still live as if they are bound, struggling with what Christ has already set them free from. What does it mean to live holy in a world full of temptation? How do we choose growth over control? How does God’s grace empower us to overcome sin, not excuse it? Join us as we challenge you to make a daily decision: Will you walk in sin, or will you live a holy life marked by righteousness? It’s time for the funeral of the old self and to embrace the new life God offers through faith in Jesus. If you’re ready to break free and live the life God designed for you, this episode is for you.
