We had a great conversation with author & speaker @Dave Hollis . We talked about so many things from his beginnings, to his rise & fall and everything in between. He owned his part in the downfall of his marriage to @Rachel Hollis and we fully appreciated how open and vulnerable he was on the show! This was a very raw conversation we had together!Dave Hollis is a dad living in a small town outside Austin where he spends his time as a NY Times best-selling author, host of the popular Rise Together podcast, keynote speaker, small business consultant, performance coach, and runner turned fitness enthusiast reaching for holistic health with an incredible community online. Dave’s work history includes CEO of a media start-up, President of Sales for the film studio at The Walt Disney Company, a talent manager across film, tv, and music, along with work in publicity, research, and technology in the entertainment sector.Dave’s hope is that his work might encourage people to have the courage to step toward their calling while equipping them with the tools to lead a fulfilling, meaningful life.The Hollis Family Giving Fund is the attempt to give back, where acting as an ally to the needs of children in foster care, teen homelessness and food insecurity have been a recent focus for grants.Dave has sat on the board of the membership committee for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences, of which he is a member, and on the boards of Fandango Labs, Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers, National Angels and his alma mater Pepperdine’s Institute for Entertainment Media and Culture.Dave is the father to four incredible kids ages 5 to 15, a four-time foster parent, a sports memorabilia enthusiast and best friends to a green ’69 Ford Bronco named The Incredible Hulk and a grumpy mini schnauzer named Jeffrey.
