He was told to expect a shortened lifespan with medical difficulties along the way. This medical diagnosis shaped his life in a way that could have led to depression and decay, but instead motivated Jim to rise above the adversity in spite of the dire forecast. It is the lessons learned and the persistent and positive attitude that served as the inspiration for Jim to write his first book aptly named, “When Hope is Your Only Option”. Jim is happy to share his stories so that the reader can learn and be better prepared for the adversity that they encounter in their life.
