The Christian and Alcohol
from Unashamed Truth Hosted by Grant Castleberry
In this episode, Grant Castleberry turns to a question many Christians have wrestled with at some point. How should a believer think about alcohol? With careful attention to Scripture and years of pastoral experience, Grant walks through what the Bible actually says. He shows that alcohol is presented as a gift from God, yet also carries serious warnings when it is misused. The issue is not simply drinking, but the loss of self-control that leads to drunkenness and its consequences. This conversation moves through several key themes. • What Scripture teaches about enjoying God’s gifts. • The real dangers and damage caused by alcohol abuse. • The call for believers to live sober-minded and disciplined lives. • The importance of loving others well by considering the weaker brother. • And the role of wisdom, especially for those in leadership. This is a thoughtful and honest episode that brings biblical clarity to a complicated issue. You can also watch the Unashamed Truth Podcast on our YouTube Channel.
