The Christian Frontlines - Persecution Today

After reading and pondering Acts Chapter 14, I got to thinking about the bravery that Paul must have had. Acts 14 is the first of many times Paul would endure that kind of persecution. It might surprise you, even to the level of shock and disgust, that many Christians are very familiar with this level of persecution TODAY! I did some research and it's beyond appalling. We enjoy "freedom of religion" here in the United States... though I don't know for how long. My church supports a mission in Indonesia and some of what goes on there pales in comparison to what happens in other places. We have not progressed much as a society when you see what is happening to Christians around the world. It really is sad and scary. My heart goes out to some of these people... They show just as much bravery as Paul and the early Christians. It's truly amazing.  The Christian Front >> NOTES
