The Christians Vital Breath

This week we look at the Lord’s prayer as we follow in the way of Jesus. The Lord’s prayer is one of the most well-known if not the most well-known, recited, and memorized prayers. For far too many the familiarity with this prayer has tamed its revolutionary nature of this prayer. We can begin to think this passage is safe, when it is anything but. We can begin to believe this lion has been tamed, but suddenly it can turn on us and show us just how wild it is, awakening us to the possibility of prayer.
