"The Christmas Kings" follows Manuel, a barefoot boy in a narrow, sun-starved street of a Spanish city, whose neighbourhood has never once received gifts from the Three Kings on Christmas Eve. While the other children retreat home at nightfall, Manuel sets out alone on the dark road, clutching only a handful of grass for the camels, determined to find the kings and remind them of their forgotten promise.
